Fahmida Nabi Biography

Fahmida Nabi is a popular singer in Bangladesh.

She usually sings classical and modern songs.

She also sings Rabindra Sangeet and Nazrul Sangeet.

She has been working as a judge on the reality show

Close-up One since 2005.

Most of the songs she has sung have been loved by the audience.

In 2007, she received the National Film Award for

Best Playback Singer. She also received the Channel I

Performance Award (2008) and the Meril-Prothom Alo Award 

(2008).

Her father is the late famous musician Mahmudunnabi

and her younger sister is the popular singer of Bangladesh,

Samina Chowdhury.
