Subhasish Mazumder Bappa, better known as Bappa Mazumder,

is a Bangladeshi musician, songwriter and composer.

He is known as Bappa Da to his young fans due to his

contemporary songs and movements. He is mainly known for his 

Bengali romantic songs. His band, Dalchhut. Apart from writing 

songs for the band and himself, he also writes songs for other

artists. Recently, he recorded and performed a song album with 

another famous Bangladeshi singer Fahmida Nabi,

which broke all previous records in Bangladesh. He hosted the 

television show The One, A Musical Talk Show on Channel One. 

Later, the television channel went off air in 2010. His solo album, 

Suryasnane Chal, was released in 2008. His seventh solo album, 

Din Bari Jay, was released in February 2005. Ek Mutho Gaan 2, 

was released in February 2010. His tenth solo album,

Jani Na Koon Mantare, was released on 16 July 2014.

He has also worked with other contemporary music artists, 

including Samina Chowdhury, Fuad Al Muqtadir, Shayan 

Chowdhury Arnab, Mila Islam, Dilshad Nahar Kona, and

Elita Karim.
