Pritam Hasan Biography
Pritam Hasan is a Bangladeshi music director, musician,
model and actor.
He has composed music for the films Devi (2018), Tufan (2024),
Barbad (2025), along with several solo compositions.
He was nominated for the Meril-Prothom Alo Award in the Best
Singer category for the song "Khoka".
He won the Meril-Prothom Alo Award in the Best Singer category
for the song "Lage Ura Dhura" from the film Tufan (2024).
In addition to music, he acts in television and digital media.
He won the Meril-Prothom Alo Critics Award in the Best Actor
in a Limited Feature Film category for the 2022 web film Aaral.
He also acted in the web film Kashter Manush Dore Thuiya (2024),
for which he was nominated for the Meril-Prothom Alo Award
in the Best Film Actor category and the Best Film Actor category
in the Critics' Section in the Star Survey.
Pritam was born in Dhaka, but his village home is in Pirojpur.
His father is a musician Khalid Hasan Milu and mother is
Fatema Hasan Palash. His brother is a musician Pratik Hasan.
He currently lives with his family in Baridhara, Bashundhara.
Pritam's father, who was suffering from liver cirrhosis,
died on March 29, 2005. He was 12 years old when his father died.
When Pritam's father was ill, they moved to Tongi from Purba
Rampura. After his father's death, Pritam was raised by his mother
and elder brother.
Pritam studied at Capital Hill International School and Safiuddin
Sarkar Academy School as a child. Pritam studied at Gulshan
Commerce College for higher secondary. He graduated from
Southeast University. On October 28, 2022, he married model
and actress Shehtaz Monira Hashem.
