Bangladesh. She is an advisor to BNP Chairperson and

former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.

She participated in the 11th National Parliament election

as a BNP nominated candidate.

She has sung many songs since 1976. She won the National

Film Award in the Best Female Playback Singer category in 2003.
