Doly Shaontoni Biography

Doly Sayontoni is a Bangladeshi musician and businesswoman

who began her political career by participating in the 12th

National Parliament election.

In her long career, she has released 15 solo albums, over 100

double and mixed albums.

She has also worked in over 700 Bengali films. The first film

she sang in was Utthanpatan.

The lyrics of the song were "Rangchata Jeanser Pant Para,

Jalnoto Cigaret Lipte Dhara". She won the Meril-Prothom Alo 

Award in the Best Singer category in 2004.
