Momtaz Begum (better known as Momtaz) is a popular Bengali folk singer and former member of the National Parliament. Known as the Queen of Tunes of Bangladesh, Momtaz has recorded over 700 songs in her four-decade career.[citation needed] She has won the National Film Award for Best Female Vocalist twice.
