Subir Nandi Biography

Subir Nandi was a Bangladeshi musician.

He gained fame mainly by singing in film songs.

The Bangladesh government awarded him the National Film

Award five times for his contribution to film music.

He won this award five times for singing in the films Mahanayak 

(1984), Shuvoda (1986), Shrawan Megher Din (1999),

Megher Pare Megh (2004) and Mahua Sundori (2015).

The Bangladesh government awarded him the Ekushey Padak,

the country's second highest civilian award, in 2019 for his 

contribution to music.
