Ankhi Alamgir. She won the National Film Award in the Best
Child Artist category for her performance in the film Bhaat De
in 1984.

She is the daughter of actor Alamgir and lyricist Khoshnur Alamgir.
Ankhi was born on 7 January 1975 in Dhaka.
Her father Alamgir is a National Film Award-winning actor
and mother Khoshnur Alamgir is a lyricist. After divorcing
Khoshnur,
her father married musician Runa Laila in 1999.
As a result, Runa Laila is her stepmother.
Ankhi played the role of a teenage girl named Zari in the
film Bhaat De directed by Amjad Hossain in 1984.
She won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist for
her performance in the film. Ankhi made her first playback
appearance in the film Bidrohi Bodhu (1994).
She was studying in class 12 at the time. In 1996, Ankhi sang
the song for the film Satyayer Mrutya Nei
composed by Alauddin Ali.
Her first song album Prothom Koli was released in 1997.
Her acclaimed album Bisher Kanta was also released the
following year.
The two songs from this album, "Bandhu Amar Rossiya"
and "Piriti Bisher Kanta", became popular with the audience.
