Samina Chowdhury is a popular Bangladeshi singer.

She has sung mostly modern and classical songs.

Her notable songs include - Janh Teh Jalachhi Mago,

Amar Bukka Madhkhane, Amar Doo Koch Doo Nadi,

Ekbar Jab Kew, Kavita Para Prahor, Phul Pothe Phul Jhore.

She served as a judge in the Close-up One music talent

competition aired on NTV in 2005.

She has also served as a judge on Channel I's "Khude Gaan Raj", 

NTV's "Close-up One", Maasranga Television's "Balbasi 

Bangladesh" and some other reality television shows.

Samina Chowdhury has worked as a playback singer for

Bengali films. For her impeccable contribution,

she has won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best

Playback Singer (2006), Bachsas Award for Best Female

Vocalist (1984) and Meril Prothom Alo Award for Best Singer 

(2005). His father is the famous music personality, the late 

Mahmudunnabi, and his sister is the famous music artist,

Fahmida Nabi.
